Running with Jesus2015

Luke 12:31  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

(" He will always give you all you need from day to day if you will make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.")

Runners stop, look, and listen! God's Word will always give us a promise and most of the time that is where we stop reading! The promise will also include a condition!

Let's find the promise, "He will always give you what you need day to day!"

Yeahhh! Grab it and run! But here is the stop and listen part, "if you will make the kingdom of God the primary concern!" Oops, Dr Luke is meddling with my time on my schedule, my energy and resources!

God has always had a marriage/covenant relationship with his children!   I was studying in Zechariah 8:3 when Israel got serious with putting God's commands above their own interest, Jerusalem personal relationship would be restored. He promised to restore peace and security and provide everything she would need. The problem was Israel had been an unfaithful wife! We are His bride today and we must examine are we wanting to claim the promise without Being the faithful wife of God!  Let's examine and see if His Kingdom is primary concern!

Father,  help us not neglect You and your desires and Your kingdom work. Let us not be guilty of just looking for a handout and not a relationship!  Show us where Your kingdom work is today!

We may not see our needs met because we have not noticed the condition!

Tomorrow: Jesus will talk about money!
