Running with Jesus 2015

Luke 12:32-34 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.  Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

("Don’t fear, little flock. Your Father wants to share his kingdom with you. Sell the things you have and give that money to those who need it. This is the only way you can keep your riches from being lost. You will be storing treasure in heaven that lasts forever. Thieves can’t steal that treasure, and moths can’t destroy it.  Your heart will be where your treasure is.")

Yesterday Jesus taught about putting Kingdom work first and it is interesting next He starts talking about money! People say they don't want to go to church because that's all they want is your money! Interesting Jesus talks about money a lot! Wonder why? He knows man, we like it! We spend most of our days laboring for it and now He tells us to give it away! Interesting He tells us it is the only way for our money to not get lost is give it to those in need! He says then it will be stored in heaven and last forever! Now how about that return on your money!

Watch out now remember promise and condition yesterday here it comes! Ready for the punch "your heart will be where your treasure is!" Ok get the check book out!! Examine where your riches are? Now, Where are our priorities? Jesus is teaching kingdom living!

Today let each of us have silent prayer and a time of meditation! Let's digest this and chew on it! Let the Holy Spirit examine our hearts! Wonder why we don't see our needs met?

Tomorrow: Preparing for His return!
